Heal Your Dog’s ‘Hot Spot’
…Safely And Naturally!”
side effects of expensive, and often ineffective, drugs…
through the ancient science of Aromatherapy

Oh no! She keeps licking her left hind leg. Is that the start of another ‘hot spot’?
Probably. It’s that time of the year. Seems like whenever the weather turns warm Bailey, your 4 year old female Border Collie, develops hot spots. Much more so than during the cooler winter months. They’re really nasty … not only are her hot spots ugly and foul-smelling, they look soooooo painful. Inflamed, red, swollen, smelly and “pus-sie” – absolutely disgusting. And she keeps licking them – exasperating the problem! You can’t “reason” with her like you can one of your kids – Bailey’s a dog. But if she could only understand that by constantly licking the sore she is creating a bigger problem … and more pain for herself. But you can empathize. Kind of like that skin irritation you had a few years back. Even though you knew it wouldn’t help the situation, it sure did feel good when you scratched the irritated spot. In fact, it hurt when you did scratch the afflicted area, but provided temporary relief at the same time. Didn’t make any sense, but yet you couldn’t keep your hands off. Just like Bailey! You see, that’s normal. Dogs often bite or lick infected areas. Because hot spots are so painful and irritating, a dog will usually lick, chew and/or scratch the area – often to the point of self-mutilation. In fact, a severe hot spot can even cause the best mild-tempered dogs to growl or bite when approached. |
And How Do They Happen?
| For us humans, a Hot Spot can be a great nightclub, restaurant, vacation spot, someplace where we can have a “good ol’ time”. However, for canines, it’s quite a different story. A canine hot spot “ain’t no fun at all”. | |
| Canine hot spots (otherwise known as moist dermatitis, and sometimes called Summer Sores or a lick granuloma) are angry, raw, red, itchy, inflamed patches of skin which can ooze a clear or yellow discharge. Hair loss typically occurs as well. |
|
| These areas are extremely sensitive to the dog. Because these lesions are incredibly itchy, massive amounts of scratching, licking, biting and rubbing by the dog will occur. Which, of course, only makes the problem worse. | |
| Hot spots tend to occur most often in the summer months. Any dog can get them, however dogs with long, matted, dirty coats are at greater risk of developing them. Stings from insects, scratches, small scrapes and wounds, all can be enough to cause a hot spot. Most of the causes, however, can be lumped together into four main triggers: | |

the healing & regeneration process
with our all-natural Aromatherapy blend we call

| Our unique blend of essential oils: |

|
This special combination of many different oils packs a potent “1-2 punch”. You
see, our carrier oils alone (those essential oils that carry the blend into
the skin) would probably solve the hot spot problem.
However, it’s the 4 additional types of oils we add that make this blend such an effective weapon against those nasty and ugly sores … our ‘Secret Sauce’ as Faith Thanas, the creator, likes to call them. These additional oils give our Hot Spot that second punch. The oils calm the area down, promote regeneration, new tissue growth & increased circulation, kill bacteria, are highly anti-inflammatory, antiseptic & anti-fungal, and are great for lymphatic drainage. All highly desirable properties when attacking a canine hot spot. |

| “I have been using your products for several years-always with excellent results! ... The Hot Spot was the only thing that worked on my 16 1/2 year old Setter who had a lick granuloma on his leg for what seemed like his entire life! He stopped the constant licking and chewing and the area healed after all that time and all of those years! … One of my present Guinea Pigs had a lesion on his shoulder where he was able to constantly scratch and gnaw. It healed in two days with the Hot Spot! These products work wonders when nothing else will.” |

"............attached are 2 photos of my special pet "Lad", who is a trained therapy
dog............I have had dogs for as long as I can remember, and
some of them had the terrible "hot spot" that NO Vet could cure!.........that is
until I purchased your product!..............Lad developed 2 serious
"hot spots", one on his right front knee area and under his tail.....................I
believe these developed when I applied an anti-grub material on my lawn about 2
weeks ago.............Lad was laying on the grass as I laid down the product before
I could water it on the lawn...........he developed an itch and he started to shed
clumps of hair.......then the cursed "licking" started!.......I gave him a good
wet anti-itch bath to clean his fur and then purchased "Hot Spot" ...........
As I take him to long-term care hospitals, nursing homes and to disturbed children, I was concerned that I would have to discontinue "our visits."............Again, thanks to you Lad stopped the "licking" and he is now just about back to normal as both wounds have dried up and the hair is returning............... You would not believe what he has done in bringing joy to those in need!.............Lad is a very special kind of animal, indeeeeeeed!.............he has been responsible for one person at St. Camillus Hospital, who had not talked nor recognized any person in 6 months, actually start talking again!..............simply amazing!...............but that is only one of many instances................I could go on and on at his ability to communicate with those in need............he understands about 100 words/phrases!.................I have never formally trained him.................I just talk to him and he does what I ask! Again, thanks for helping Lad and me solve what could have developed into a very serious condition!.............and, by the way, I hope you wouldn't be mad if I told my friends about you!..............stay well and play well.” |

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils, or the pure essence of plants,
to heal and nurture the body, mind, and soul. The harmony between plants and animals
(and humans too) has long been known and documented – back to the dawn of man.
Essential oils, with their complicated chemical compounds, should be considered a gift from nature. They offer us balance and a never-ending resource toward improving and embellishing our lives. All essential oils are antiseptic, anti-microbial, detoxifying, regulating, revitalizing, and assist with the exchange of oxygen and nutrients. Our blends are special because they take a holistic approach to some very basic ailments that are common concerns to pet owners. They are not intended to replace your Veterinarian’s diagnosis or experience, but are simply an alternative and, in some instances, a preventative. |
|
|
Absolutely!! In fact, it’s safe for both dogs and us humans as well.
(Yes, you can even use it on yourself.)
The essential oils we use in these products are of the highest quality. They are human grade, therapeutic and, in most cases, certified organic. We never use substitutes. We never compromise quality in our blends. |
| One of the greatest gifts in life is the love and companionship between a dog and its owner. By purchasing Hot Spot, by taking this step toward relieving your dog’s pain and discomfort in an all-natural & safe way, you’re showing him/her just how much you love and care. |
